Why I Switched to Svelte
After years of working with React and Next.js, I grew tired of dealing with excessive boilerplate and hooks just to accomplish simple tasks. Managing state, handling side effects, or optimizing re-renders often felt like wrestling with the framework itself rather than focusing on the product’s core logic.
When I tried Svelte 5 and SvelteKit, everything felt significantly lighter. There was no need to juggle multiple hooks—Svelte handles things in a more natural and straightforward way.
Instead of learning workarounds, I could simply write what I wanted to express.
